Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Happy Tuesday friends! As fellow bookworms, I’m positive you can relate to this week’s prompt. Let’s face it, each year we have books we want to read, and mean well, but they just don’t fit into our busy schedule. Due to the fact that ARCs (Advance Review Copies) get so much attention on our book blogs, I wanted to focus on 10 books that were on my list to read in 2018 that were pleasure reads, and ones I hope to tackle in 2019 instead. Have you read any of these? If so, where should I start first?
If you’d like to follow my reading journey elsewhere, you can find me on Goodreads, Instagram, and Twitter! ❤
I still need to read Spinning Silver too! I can’t wait to see what you think of The Raven Boys. I love that series so much!

Thanks friend! There’s a massive buddy read going on next month for Spinning Silver if you’re schedule is free then.

Love that you added you want to read for pleasure, as well as for the blog. 🙂 There are a few titles here that catch my eye…but I have to admit, I haven’t read any of these either! Looking forward to more great posts (and maybe some reviews of these books?) in 2019.

Jurassic Park is an oldie but goodie! I’ve heard good things about most of these books, though, so you probably can’t go wrong!

I loved To All The Boys more than I probably should haha … I would HIGHLY recommend the Netflix movie (even before reading it so you can picture the characters)

Spinning Silver definitely is one that I moved from last year to this and will get to regardless of the number of ARCs piling up on my shelves. I hope you get time to read some of these as well. Salem’s Lot is a treat. Believe it not, I actually read it when it was first published eons ago. I’ve re-read it since but I still remember the thrill it brought that first time.

Lady Midnight! I love Cassandra Clare’s books. I never seem to catch up with my reading pile so everything I read is ‘late to the party’ lol. Great book choices.
