Hello fellow readers and welcome to my newest segment, Lightning Round! I’ve realized with the growing community of book reviews and related content posts that it’s difficult to fit in reading all of the things we want to. After brainstorming in an effort to connect readers with authors in a more personal way, I came up with the idea for these “bullet interviews”-think more of a get to know the person who’s writing the book rather than us trying to sell you a piece of merchandise. It’s a fun, fast segment, similar to the templates you currently see in Instagram stories. Today’s guests are Lisa Steinke and Liz Fenton, co-authors of five novels, the latest releasing this July titled Girls’ Night Out! (In case you missed my review you can find it HERE!) Please join me in giving Lisa and Liz a warm welcome and come chuckle along with me at their fabulous answers to my ridiculous questions. 😉

Liz and Lisa have been best friends for 30 years. They created this website to celebrate books women (and men!) love and to have a place to talk shit about reality TV stars. They have also published three women’s fiction novels with Simon & Schuster/Atria Books. Your Perfect Life is a hilarious and heartwarming story of two childhood best friends who switch bodies at their twenty-year high school reunion. The Status of All Things, is a cautionary tale of a woman who realizes she can change the course of her entire life by what she writes in her Facebook status. And The Year We Turned Forty follows three women who get the chance to relive the year they turned forty, a year they each made decisions that altered the course of their lives.
Liz Fenton & Lisa Steinke are the authors of the forthcoming Girls’ Night Out (July 24th, 2018) and the Amazon Charts bestselling novel, The Good Widow. You can buy it here!
