PIFM: Feb 2018

Guys, it’s a new year which means TIME TO CLEAR THAT BACKLIST! Or at least pretend we’re going to. While I’m not ambitious enough to believe I’ll actually clear my shelves of all the unread books I own, I am going to make sure I’m reading some older books each month and keep them rotating around with all the review copies. How will I do that you may ask? If you’re a member of the A GOOD THRILLER group on Goodreads then you know where this is going. If not, let me elaborate. I give full credit for the “Pick It For Me” idea I’m using to the group and it’s moderators as this was developed by them and I’m just using it for my own backlog here.

Basically, I will provide a list of books that I’m wanting to read below and you all will vote on your number one choice that I should read for the month! I’ll keep a tally going and whichever book has the most votes by February 1st is the winner! If I clear out my scheduled TBR before the end of the month then I will add on the #2 book and so on… I haven’t decided if I want to do themes for these each month or what, so bare with me as I play around with the idea and get it going full speed. Below are the four books I chose this month (I decided to choose the four oldest books from first shelf on my first bookcase) along with the link to read more about them on Goodreads. Ready? Here we go!

  1. The Body in the Library is pretty good. although i read it 15 years ago in my crime phase… hehe.

I do this sometimes as well just on a smaller case. When I can’t decide between my books and have no inspiration i ask my bf to pick one for me 😂
