Exciting Announcement!

Hi guys! I don’t typically post on the weekends unless I’m desperately needing to fit in a review, but I’m so excited about this announcement that it couldn’t wait until Monday. I have been brainstorming with Sam of Clues and Reviews Book Blog and we have decided to form a collaboration for a sort of online book club called Suspenseful Clues and Thrilling Reviews! As most of you know, our blogs and taste in books are very similar, so we felt it was only natural to form a feature where we could come together and work on initiating the dialogue that we felt was lacking in many of our posts these days. Our hope is to pick one book per month to feature as our book club’s choice; the idea is to announce it a couple of weeks before we start. Ex. We are announcing our pick for August in mid July to give folks enough time to secure and read the book. We will then post our discussion questions in August and leave the discussion open for anyone to join in once they have read the book. We are still working out the details but are also hoping to offer some sort of giveaway each month for those who participate as well! Without further ado, here’s our choice for AUGUST:

Just a year and a half after the tragic death of his wife, Bill Price’s fifteen-year-old daughter, Summer, and her best friend, Haley, disappear. Days later, the girls are found in a city park. Haley is dead at the scene, while Summer is left beaten beyond recognition and clinging to life.

As Bill holds vigil over Summer’s bandaged body, the only sound the unconscious girl can make is one cryptic and chilling word: No. And the more time Bill spends with Summer, the more he wonders what happened to her. Or if the injured girl in the hospital bed is really his daughter at all.

When troubling new questions about Summer’s life surface, Bill is not prepared for the aftershocks. He’ll soon discover that both the living and the dead have secrets. And that searching for the truth will tear open old wounds that pierce straight to the heart of his family…

David Bell’s newest novel, BRING HER HOME, is available now from Berkley/Penguin. We are so excited to discuss this book with you guys! Sam and I both loved this story and we think you will too! Whether you’ve already finished the book or are just now discovering it, everyone is welcome in this discussion; just remember there will be spoilers in the final posts intended for readers AFTER they have finished the book. If you need to purchase your copy you can snag one from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or Target easily! Happy Saturday folks and looking forward to chatting with you all about BRING HER HOME! ❤
