Weekly Wrap Up: 4/7/17

Welcome to this week’s wrap up! It’s been quiet on the home front; I didn’t post but three times this week and I used some of my time participating in a re-read in preparation for the release of A Court of Wings and Ruin (ACOTAR #3)Β in May. I managed to read five books this week and get up 3 reviews, so I wouldn’t say my time was completely wasted. Next week will be time to get down to the grind and really pump out some arcs. What were some of your favorite reads this week?

NETGALLEY APPROVALS:

I had 3 NetGalley approvals this week and have left my NetGalley ban flapping in the breeze. πŸ˜‰ Hopefully I’ll be able to concentrate on getting some of these read by the end of the month to at least attempt to keep a reasonable queue going. How’s your NetGalley situation this week?

POSTS FROM LAST WEEK:

Blog Tour: Six Stories

Review: Daughter of the Pirate King

Review: One Perfect Lie

BOOKSTAGRAM:

Here are some of my bookish pictures from my Instagram account; these usually consist of arcs from publishers/authors, books I’ve purchased, and library hauls.

Don’t forget to enter the giveaway on my Instagram page (@suspensethrill) for a chance to win 1 of 2 ARC copies ofΒ It’s Always the HusbandΒ by Michele Campbell! • Well, it comes in waves. Sometimes I have oodles of time between my daughter’s therapy and dr appointments, then other weeks I hardly get 1 book read! πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚ Being a fast reader helps tremendously though. If only I could write my reviews as quickly! πŸ˜‚

NetGalley… I don’t even know what to say xD and there’s one book I’m dying to get but I know it’s no good as I haven’t read the previous ones in the series but the title is too good… *sigh* Gotta work on those 17 pending ARCs!!!!

Currently back to a sad 59% *for shame* but hope to get back to at least 65% by this wknd. I also just got approved for Song of the Current, excited for this one πŸ™‚ Happy reading Chelsea! ❀

  7. I have The Perfect Stranger from NetGalley…and hope to start reading it soon.

I got excited when I saw Dark Saturday, as I love the Frieda Klein series…but when I checked, I realized that I already have this one, entitled Saturday Requiem. I loved it! Hope you do, too.

Woah, wait, there’s a Mark Edwards ARC on Netgalley??? I love his books so much. How have I not seen this??? I probably shouldn’t request it because I currently have 9 or 10 right now, though. πŸ˜‚
