Happy Friday everyone! It’s finally the weekend and I am so glad. We have family coming in town to celebrate my daughter’s 4th birthday (how is that possible?), so I’m going to have to keep this short and sweet. As always, I’d love to hear about what you’re reading and if any of these books are on your reading lists!
DCI Erika Foster is back and surlier than ever in Robert Bryndza’s latest thriller in the series. I’m enjoying reconnecting with the old gang and meeting new characters; I honestly have no idea where this one is going and can’t wait to find out!
Finally, David Bell and I can find peace. We ended our epic twitter war last night when I started this book, and as usual I’m already sucked in. I’m really glad I saved this one as I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump lately; his books are always a guarantee to engage and thrill me.
- I don’t have a picture, but I won a leather-bound copy of the works of Edgar Allen Poe from Ali at The Bandar Blog and I can’t wait to see it. Thanks Ali; you’re the best!
Many thanks to Goodreads Giveaways, Kathleen Rooney, and Francesca at Pan Macmillan for my review copies this week! Super excited to start each one!
