Another week has passed and was it a great one! My NetGalley interview went live, I was able to check off a good bit of my blog’s to-do list, and I received some fabulous books in the mail. Next week will be busy with blog tours, catching up on reviews (oops), and getting some upcoming posts live. While you’re here, feel free to check out my current giveaways; they’re open internationally and you can find them HERE. Below are some of the books that have kept me busy this week; are any on your TBR list or ones you’ve already finished?
I was finally able to start this one after sitting it on my shelf for months! I’m a huge Linwood Barclay fan that has thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy and need to finally know how it all wraps up. This mini series has been really cool because it features established characters from his various other books all brought together in the same fictional town of Promise Falls. The amount of detail and intricacy needed to pull this off isn’t lost on me and is part of the reason it’s drawn me in so well.
I’m actually planning on starting this one today, even though I have 3 reviews that need writing. I’ve been in a reviewing slump, so pardon my being behind in posting. I’ll be resuming the mad rush to catch up asap. Back to All In Pieces- I won this book about a month ago in a Goodreads Giveaway and have been excited to read it! A fairly short book, it appeals to me as its YA that centers around a teenage girl who has anger issues involving the bullying of her brother with special needs. I always love books featuring minorities and anyone considered “atypical”, so I think this will be quickly devoured.
I woke up this past Sunday and found out I’d won all 3 of these books! Talk about a jackpot; all 3 have been on my wishlist for awhile so I’m super pumped for them to arrive! Thanks to Atria Books, Simon & Schuster, and Skyhorse Publishing for my copies. (Pictures courtesy of Goodreads)
Many thanks to Orenda Books (Karen Sullivan, YOU ROCK!), Atria Mystery Bus (Guys I’m telling you, jump on that bus!), William Morrow Books, and my friend Laura Rash for all my book mail this week. It’s sure to keep me busy for awhile!
